EMERGENCY TEAM DRILL DEVELOPMENT & PLANNING

Many companies conduct first aid and CPR training and while the employees may have the knowledge, the real test comes when they are faced with a true emergency. Conducting a training exercise or emergency response drill is the key to ensuring adequate response and solidifying skills learned. Drills are also an excellent opportunity to see how your support teams (security, housekeeping, communications etc.) would react if a true emergency occurs. This allows you to see potential problems before they actually occur.

Dimensions will set up the scenario, conduct the drill, and have a post-drill review session. By using moulage (stage wounds, blood, etc.) we create a realistic situation that will give your employees an opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills, and understand where gaps in that knowledge may exist. This creates a realistic emotional experience that cannot be created with classroom training alone.

Topic Review Sessions

Scheduling periodic topic review sessions during the year provides additional skills and practice, giving your response team confidence in their ability to perform during an emergency. This approach meets OSHA's recommendations outlined in Best Practices Guide: Fundamentals of a Workplace First-Aid Program.

Dimensions can provide expert recommendations and consultation for establishing first aid response policies and protocols. A comprehensive and practical approach ensures an appropriate and timely response when the unthinkable occurs.
