Issue: Our client was having numerous office ergonomic complaints resulting in substantial workers’ compensation claims.
Our Approach –Our holistic approach allowed us to conduct the ergonomic evaluations and as nurses this sometimes included understanding employee medical histories (confidentially) when applicable. The employees appreciated being able to share with healthcare professionals issues that allowed a more comprehensive solution. We went on to help the employer established a workers’ compensation case review program that included human resources, the insurance carrier and management when needed. This allowed for early intervention and open communication, which kept little problems from becoming huge problems. In doing so, the client has almost completely eliminated office ergonomic issues and workers’ compensation costs. They have since expanded the program to other business units as well.

Issue: A client was frustrated by maintaining records for 600 employees needing first aid & CPR training, Bloodborne Pathogen training and hepatitis B vaccines.
Our Approach – Our background allowed us to provide an integrated solution that incorporated all of the required training, vaccines, and recordkeeping. This integrated solution was provided at cost considerably less than was being paid for all 3 services separately. In addition, with all the information maintained in one location the client is able to get reports and training records that are now being used by management to determine future needs.  This aggregate data had never been available before.
