Dimensions was founded in 1991 by Karen Mastroianni and David Machles. We are located at 8374-104 Six Forks Road in Raleigh, NC. Our staff is dedicated to assisting employers with the development and implementation of workplace solutions to establish effective safety and health programs, meet OSHA requirements, decrease injury rates, reduce insurance costs, and improve productivity and employee morale. In addition to the staff members listed below, Dimensions partners with other safety professionals, qualified exercise trainers and health educators to assist with programs as appropriate.

David Machles EdD, MPH, COHN-S; has more than 20 years experience in the field of health and safety, specializing in safety culture assessments, OSHA compliance, worksite inspections, policy development, and training. David completed his doctoral degree in adult education with a specialty in organizational learning. He helps companies establish systems that foster employee involvement and enrich the organization through mentoring and staff development. David is an active member in ASSE, has published several articles and presents regularly on a local, state and national level.

Karen Mastroianni MPH, COHN-S, FAAOHN; works with a variety of companies to provide solutions and assistance in developing effective organizational & individual wellness and safety programs. Karen has more than 22 years experience in the health promotion and safety fields. She is active in her professional organization and has presented at local, state, and national conferences on a variety of health and safety topics. She is co-author of a book and has published articles. Karen is currently a doctoral student at NC State studying adult learning and human resource development.

Lisa Trumps provides essential project management and support for the many activities Dimensions implements. She has a degree from Radford University and has extensive experience in supply chain management. She is available to provide support for our client projects and has the organizational skills essential to ensure smooth operations.

Colin Tommerson provides operational support and innovative business development solutions for Dimensions. Colin's background includes tenure in the financial services industry. He received his B.S. in Business Administration from the Cameron School of Business at The University of North Carolina at Wilmington.

Dave Meister has over 20 years of experience in the Health, Safety & Environmental fields. He has a B.S. in Business Administration from the State University of NY at Buffalo and an A.A.S. in Ecology and Environmental Technology from Paul Smith's College in the Adirondack Mountains of NY. David has been associated with Dimensions and involved in the NC ASSE for the past 13 years since he has lived in the RTP area of NC. Recently he has been specializing in analysis, training, and implementation of Safety and Environmental Management Systems for various companies in the RTP area.

Terri Campbell BS, MS; Teri's background is in Health/Wellness and Physical Education. Her master's is in Exercise and Sports Science. She has a wealth of experience teaching in diverse educational settings and has published articles and presented at local, state, and national conferences. Terri is an experienced CPR, First Aid, and AED instructor. She also assists with safety classes and implementing health and wellness activities.

Bob Fox is a Physician Assistant and a CPR and First Aid Instructor. He is certified to teach by the National Safety Council and American Heart Association. He is also certified to teach Automatic External Defibrillator and was one of the first instructors in the State of North Carolina.

Shelley Kittrell MPA has worked in a variety of health care settings and is certified through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, and National Safety Council as a CPR/AED, First Aid, and Blood Borne Pathogen instructor. Shelley also assists with health screenings and enjoys working with the diverse populations served by Dimensions. She has worked with Dimensions since 2008.

Aileen Smalling has been with Dimensions since 2007. She supports a large Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability department for a corporate client and focuses much of her time on coordinating their wellness program. She has a degree from William Patterson University.

Maria Holmes MPH, CSP, CIH; has nearly six years experience as an OSHA compliance officer with NC-DOL. Maria has a Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry and a Master's in Public Health (MSPH) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she specialized in Industrial Hygiene. She has worked with Dimensions since 2001 providing safety consultation and industrial hygiene oversight.

Anne Glenn RN, COHN-S; is an occupational health nurse providing occupational health nursing services to companies in the area. She also assists with health screenings and health coaching projects.

Karin Evanoff RN; is an occupational health nurse providing occupational health nursing services to companies in the area. She also assists with health screenings and health coaching projects.

Margaret Brown RN BSN; is a certified occupational health nurse with a nursing degree from Barton College. She provides a variety of occupational health nursing services to companies throughout the Triangle area. Margaret also assists with wellness screening initiatives.
